Numbness, tingling, burning, altered lip or tongue sensation, taste change and increasing pain can have different causes. Contact the treating dentist promptly—especially after lower-jaw surgery—because timing may affect assessment and management. Seek urgent local care if the overseas clinic cannot examine you.

  • Exact area and whether it is improving or spreading
  • Any weakness, swelling, fever or discharge
